Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

PTAs are very important to the school, administrators, and parents. PTA is an organization that has been in existence for over 100 years concerned with the education, health, and welfare of our children. As parents, it is our responsibility to be involved with every aspect of our children's lives as we live in this society of today.

So you ask yourself the question, why should I join PTA?

• A parent should be willing to sacrifice their time in helping to implement school involvement programs.
• It will inform communities of what is going on and what needs to be done.
• Being involved helps improve the grades and attitudes of our children.
• PTA works with school administrators to insure that children are prepared to succeed by having good nutrition, health and overall well-being.
